This case involves the rights of the holder of a certificate of deposit, fraudulently obtained, as against the banlc issuing the certificate.

A man, calling himself “J. W. Jones,” went to the defendant, Security National. Bank of Jackson, Teim., on December 8, 1919, and stated to the assistant cashier that he had $4,000 on deposit in the First National Bank of Birmingham; that he wished to transfer this money to the Security National Bank, and place $2,000 in a checking account and $2,000 on a time deposit.
