Edward Schieck was fatally injured in an automobile collision, the accident having occurred at the intersection of so-called east 145th street and First avenue northeast, at a point several miles north of the corporate limits of the city of Seattle. Schieck left' surviving him two children, a daughter, Edna Schieck, eighteen years of age, and a son, Fred Schieck, fifteen years.of age, to whom we shall hereafter refer as “Fred.” The action was brought by the administrator for the recovery of damages sustained by the heirs in consequence of the death of their father.
