Appeal from a judgment of the superior court for Pierce county, Shackleford, J., entered July 12, 1909, upon the verdict of a jury rendered in favor of the plaintiffs, for $18,000, in an action for wrongful death.

1Opinion of the CourtMorris, J.

John Ohrstrom, husband and father of respondents, died in the Younglove Grocery Company’s store, Tacoma, on February 1, 1909. Claiming such death resulted from contact with appellant’s heavily charged electric light system, the action was brought, and resulted in a verdict for respondents, and appellant, alleging error, appeals.

The chief assignments of error upon which appellant relies are in the admission of testimony, in the instructions, and insufficiency of the evidence to justify the verdict. The last two assignments raise the same question, and will be treated together. The negligence…
