Introduction
{¶ 1} Appellant, Dana L. Wenner, appeals the February 1, 2018 judgment of the Sandusky County Court of Common Pleas, where she was convicted of theft in violation of R.C. 2913.02(A)(3), a felony of the fifth degree. Appellant's counsel filed a request to withdraw pursuant to Anders v. California , 386 U.S. 738 , 87 S.Ct. 1396 , 18 L.Ed.2d 493 (1967), on March 26, 2018. For reasons stated below, we discharge counsel and appoint new counsel to prepare an amended merit brief.
