FITZPATRICK, District Judge.
The Fickling Defendants’ and South Carolina National Bank’s motions to transfer pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1404(a) or, in the alternative, to stay the case presently are pending before the Court.
BACKGROUND
In 1990, the Charter Medical Corporation’s (“Charter”) Stock Ownership Plan 1 (“ESOP”) purchased stock in Charter for eighty million dollars ($80,000,-000.00) from William Fickling, Mr. Fickling’s relatives, and various business entities affiliated with Mr. Fickling and his relatives.
