Appellee was' a passenger on a street car operated in the City of Washington by Transit Company (appellant). She was injured as the result of a collision between the street car and a truck owned by Ambassador Laundry and brought this suit against both Transit and Laundry Companies. The complaint alleged general negligence against Transit Company and violation by Laundry Company of city traffic ordinances.
