Plaintiff, Darrell K. Wangen (Wangen), appeals from a trial court’s order granting defendants’ motion for new trial unless Wangen accepted a reduction in the amount of punitive damages awarded by the jury. Defendants, David R. Knudson (Knudson), Northwestern Bell Telephone Company (Northwestern Bell), Joe Elmore (Elmore), and U.S. West Direct (U.S. West) have filed notices of review alleging that the trial court erred in denying their motions for directed verdict and judgment notwithstanding the verdwt.
