This is an appeal from Hennepin County District Court. Plaintiff-respondent James Hubbard’s (Hubbard’s) amended complaint asserts two causes of action from the allegedly wrongful conduct of his employer, defendant-appellant United Press International (UPI). Count I alleges discrimination on the basis of an alcoholism disability in violation of the Minnesota Human Rights Act, Minn.Stat. § 363.03, subd, 1 (1978).
