BROUSSARD, J.

In this case we must decide whether a contractor’s breach of an express, written warranty is a ground for discipline under the Contractors’ State License Law (Bus. & Prof. Code, § 7000 et seq.). For the reasons set forth below, we conclude that it is.

In 1977, Viking Pools, Inc. (Viking) entered into a written contract with William and Viola Ostrom to supply and install a fiberglass pool for $5,038.02.
