This is a proceeding to review and annul an order of the Industrial Accident Commission. On October 2-, 1922, John George Slate, a boilermaker’s helper, thirty-seven years of age, suffered an injury arising out of and in the course of his employment with the petitioner, Bartlett Hayward Company, which caused the loss of his right eye. On June 1, 1923, he filed an application for compensation under the provisions of the Workmen’s Compensation Act. (Stats. 1917, p. 831.)
