The plaintiff secured a judgment against the defendant for the sum of $2,510. Of the judgment so secured, $1,800 is based upon the finding of the jury impaneled that plaintiff’s premises were damaged in that amount on account of the defendant constructing a drainage canal near and running parallel with the east boundary of plaintiff's land. The sum of $350 of the judgment is for injury to the crops grown on plaintiff’s land during the year 1926.
