Claimant is a carpenter. On April 9, 1951, in the course of his employment with defendant, he was struck in the right eye by a block of wood. A traumatic cataract resulted from the accident and an open agreement was entered into under which compensation was paid until June 11, 1951, when claimant returned to work, without loss of wages. Claimant then petitioned for a modification of the agreement to provide compensation for the loss of the eye under §306 (c) of the Workmen’s Compensation Act of 1915 as currently amended by the Act of May 14, 1949, P.
