REED, Senior Judge:

In accordance with his pleas, the appellant was convicted by a military judge, sitting alone, of conspiracy to distribute lysergic acid diethylamide [LSD], wrongfully using LSD, and two specifications of larceny in violation, respectively, of Articles 81, 112a, and 121, Uniform Code of Military Justice [hereinafter UCMJ or “the Code”], 10 U.S.C. §§ 881, 912a, 921 (1988). He was sentenced to confinement for 160 days, forfeiture of $542.00 pay per month for 5 months, reduction to pay grade E-l, and a bad-conduct discharge.
