¶1 Meredith Campbell began working as a custodian for Eastern Washington University (EWU) in 1999. In 2001, she became the secretary for EWU’s Military Science Department. She received two negative evaluations and felt intimidated and harassed at work. After going on a stress-induced sick leave, Ms. Campbell was reverted by EWU to her former job as a custodian. She then filed an action against the State and two of her supervisors, alleging hostile work environment sexual harassment, retaliation, and constructive discharge.
