Mack White filed this personal-injury action against Wal-Mart stores, Inc., Randy Newton, and Darryl Pounds (collectively "Wal-Mart"), alleging that he was injured at a store operated by Wal-Mart in Thomasville. White claims to be experiencing pain, but the source of White's pain is in question, and, because of the uncertainty, Wal-Mart made several attempts to have White examined by its own physician to ascertain the cause of his pain.
