ROBERTS, Justice.

[¶ 1] Kenneth and Joan Karofsky appeal from a judgment entered in the Superior Court (Cumberland County, Calkins, J.) granting Peter and Beatrice Porrazzo’s motion for an attachment and trustee process and denying the Karofskys’ motion to dismiss. On appeal they contend that the court erred by failing to dismiss the Porrazzos’ complaint as barred by the statute of limitations and the doctrine of laches.
