for the Court.

This matter comes to us on the appeal of Michael Accetta and Michael Norato (collectively plaintiffs) after an unfavorable jury verdict in the Superior Court. The plaintiffs were involved in a car accident in Providence, Rhode Island, when Norato’s vehicle was hit from behind by Doris Pro vencal (defendant). 1 Although the defendant admitted that she was liable, she denied that her negligence was the proximate cause of any injuries suffered by the plaintiffs and disputed that any damages had been incurred.
