Young v. St. Paul Publishers, Inc.
Supreme Court of Minnesota
1Opinion of the Court
Gallagher, Chief Justice.
Plaintiff, a minority stockholder in St. Paul Publishers, Inc., sued the corporation and the controlling stockholders on what she claims to be an express contract to pay to her a fixed amount out of the proceeds from the sale of the assets of the corporation. The trial court granted defendants’ motion to dismiss for failure to prove the contract. Plaintiff appeals from an order denying her motion for a new trial.
