In this case, we must determine whether the exclusion of evidence was an appropriate sanction for the State’s violation of a discovery order. The specific issue before us is whether the court of appeals correctly held that the trial court erred in finding the State’s conduct to be a “willful” violation of the order and in excluding the untimely disclosed evidence on that basis.
