MEMORANDUM OPINION

DEL PESCO, Judge.

This is a product liability action filed against Colt Industries Operating Corp. (“Colt”) alleging that a single-action .22 caliber revolver manufactured by Colt was defectively designed because it did not include a modern safety. The gun in question has a primitive safety feature, however, plaintiffs allege that an additional modern safety was necessary.
