This is a diversity (?) 1 action arising out of a contractual dispute between the plaintiff, as painting subcontractor, and C. E. Youngdahl & Company, Inc.—Crump, Incorporated—Psaty & Fuhrman, Inc. (a joint venture), the prime contractor, involving plaintiff’s claim of $63,-405.87 as compensation for certain painting “extras” and/or corrective work required of it in the construction of the North View Heights housing project here in Pittsburgh. 2 Defendant is a surety for the prime contractor and in that capacity furnished both a “Performance Bond” and a “Labor and…
