OPINION
{¶ 1} Defendant-appellant, Dodou A. Cham, was indicted on trafficking in marijuana and possession of marijuana in excess of 20,000 grams. After a jury trial, appellant was convicted of both counts. The trial court sentenced him to imprisonment for eight years after merging the two counts. Appellant was also fined $7,000, plus costs. Appellant filed a motion for new trial, which was denied.
