OPINION OF THE COURT

VAN DUSEN, Circuit Judge.

This personal injury case is before the court pursuant to a notice of appeal filed by the defendant, Ford Motor Company, on November 4, 1969, stating that the “defendant * * * appeals * * * from the District Court order * * * granting a new trial [dated] October 20, 1969.” This order granted a new trial for two reasons, neither of which had been clearly, stated in the plaintiff’s motion for a new trial, 1 which had been filed in April 1969 after judgment had been entered on a jury verdict for the defendant.
