EUBANK, Judge.

Christopher Mitchell and D.L. Sitton Motor Lines, Inc. appeal from an adverse judgment for compensatory and punitive damages entered on a jury’s verdict and from the denial of their motion for new trial in Henry and Sandra White’s action for personal injuries sustained by Henry White. Appellants raise the following issues for our consideration: (1) whether the jury was erroneously instructed on punitive damages; and (2) whether the instructions to the jury were conflicting, confusing, and inconsistent with the verdict form.
