The plaintiffs, William Ludemann and Laura Ennis (formerly known as Laura Ludemann), move to vacate an arbitration award dated November 13, 2007, in favor of the defendant, Specialty National Insurance Company (Specialty National), which is an insurer for the town of Enfield. The following facts are not in dispute. Ludemann, a police officer for Enfield, sustained injuries when he was struck by an underinsured motorist while directing traffic in the course of his employment.
