ARGUELLES, J.

In this case we decide whether a minor made a ward of the court pursuant to Welfare and Institutions Code section 601, subdivision (b)1 as a result of his truancy, and later found in contempt of court for wilfully disobeying a juvenile court order to attend school, may be punished with confinement in a secure facility during nonschool hours, or whether sections 601, subdivision (b) and 207 prohibit such a disposition.
