Mandamus. (1) Sections 5494 and 5495 provide for hearings upon the charges and final determination by the board. This is a proceeding by mandamus. The petitioner alleges that on June 12, 1917, he was a practicing dentist, duly registered and licensed; that on said date the Missouri Dental Board, the respondent herein, notified him that charges had been filed against him, alleging certain unlawful practices on his part, and that said hoard would conduct an investigation 'into said charges on the 9th day of July, 1917; that pursuant to said notice, testimony was heard concerning the charges against relator, and that the testimony was taken down by a stenographer appointed for that purpose by the board;…
