Burson-Marsteller, LLC (“Burson”) is a public relations firm that, in March 2004, made a payment of $775,000 to Column Financial (“Column”) for its monthly rent. (Compl. ¶¶ 1, 3.) At all times relevant to this action Burson paid their monthly rent checks directly to a “lockbox” operation at JP Morgan Chase Bank, N.A. (Am. Cross-cl. ¶ 7.)
