Plaintiff was a subcontractor in the construction of a school building at Linden, in the State of New Jersey, and seeks to recover herein the sum of $1,546.02, balance plaintiff’s due upon the performance of its subcontract. The action is brought against the defendant which had executed a bond as surety for the principal contractor in the erection of said school building, one Walter A. Jensen.
