*477Curtis Jackson was arrested on July 17, 1983, and pleaded guilty to rape in the first degree on November 18, 1983. On December 7, 1983, defendant was sentenced to an indeterminate term of 6 to 12 years. On April 19, 1996, defendant was released from prison on parole supervision but violated the conditions of parole and was returned to custody on August 19, 1996.
