APPLICATION for a Writ of Habeas Corpus directed to the Sheriff of Los Angeles County. The facts are stated in the opinion of the court.

Petitioner has been held in custody by the sheriff of the county of Los Angeles on a commitment for contempt of court consisting of a violation of an injunction issued by the superior court in the case of the Pacific Ornamental Iron Works (a corporation), v. Metal Trades Council, Los Angeles, California, an association, Louis Karlson et al. It is unnecessary to review in detail the acts of Karlson found by the court to constitute the contempt for which he has been fined. It is sufficient to say that they were in violation of the injunction.
