The dispositive issue in this appeal is whether the legislature intended judges of the Superior Court to come within the jurisdictional confines of the Workers’ Compensation Act, General Statutes *55§ 31-275 et seq.1 Following the death of her husband, the Honorable Frank J. Kinney, Jr., the plaintiff, Joan A. Kinney, filed a workers’ compensation claim against the state alleging that the decedent’s fatal heart condition was causally related to work-induced stress.
