Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Chemung County (Hayden, J.), rendered September 30, 2011, upon a verdict convicting defendant of the crime of grand larceny in the third degree.
Defendant was employed as a housekeeper at an assisted living facility where she was accused of stealing jewelry from an elderly resident. She was convicted of grand larceny in the third degree and sentenced to a prison term of 21k to 7 years. She now appeals.
