On November S, 1932, Del'a Oliver, who was then 16 years old and the wife of Claude Oliver, was murdered by her husband and his nephew, George Oliver. On or about October 20, 1932, the Aetna Life Insurance Company had delivered to Della and Claude Oliver a policy of life insurance for $5,000 on the life of Della naming Claude as the beneficiary. This policy had been executed pursuant to an application for insurance signed by Del'a after Claude had supplied to the soliciting agent of the company most of the information contained therein.
