WILLIAMS, Vice Chief Justice.

This is an appeal by defendant from a judgment for plaintiff in an action for damages for conversion of personal property.

Both plaintiff and defendant are partnerships. Defendant partnership is in business as a livestock commission firm in the Oklahoma City stockyards. The property allegedly converted was 41 head of cattle owned by plaintiff partnership. These cattle were stolen by one Pfeifer, who took them to the Oklahoma City stockyards and consigned them to defendant partnership which, as a livestock commission firm, sold them to third parties and accounted…
