Plaintiffs Competitive Edge, Inc. (“Competitive Edge”) and David M. Greenspon (“Greenspon”) (collectively “Plaintiffs”) filed suit against Defendants Staples, Inc. and Staples the Office Superstore East, Inc. (collectively “Staples”) for design patent infringement and trade dress infringement. Specifically, Plaintiffs claim infringement of U.S. Design Patent No. D530,734 (“the '734 patent”) pursuant to 35 U.S.C. § 271 (Count I).
