In this case, by direct appeal, a review is sought of a decree of the District Court of Sweetwater County, Wyoming, quieting title to certain coal lands situate in that county in favor of the Rock Springs Coal & Mining Company — hereinafter designated as the “plaintiff” — and against the Black Diamond Coal Company — referred to subsequently herein as the “Black etc. Co.” — Marion A.
