SawHorse, Inc., a residential home renovation and construction company, brought a declaratory judgment action against its insurer, Southern Guaranty Insurance Company of Georgia (“Southern Guaranty”), seeking resolution of a claims dispute under its general commercial liability policy. SawHorse also demanded damages from Southern Guaranty for bad faith failure to pay and unjust enrichment, as well as attorney fees.
