In these consolidated appeals, appellant/cross-appellee Alan Banov and appel-lee/cross-appellant Hilton Hotels Corporation (“HHC”) challenge different components of the District Court’s imposition of a Rule 11 sanction against Banov. Banov represented a former HHC employee in a defamation action against HHC arising from the employee’s discharge.
