Plaintiff Johnella Richmond Moses, as representative of the estate of Marie Moses-Irons (“Moses-Irons”), brings claims against Defendants Providence Hospital and Medical Centers, Inc. (the “hospital”) and Paul Lessem (“Dr.Lessem”) pursuant to the Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act (“EMTALA”), 42 U.S.C. § 1395dd, and common law negligence.
