This action was brought by plaintiff against defendants as receivers of the Salt Lake & Utah Railroad Company to recover damages on account of the death of her husband in a collision between an automobile driven by him and a freight train of the railroad company at a grade crossing in Salt Lake county. Upon the trial, the jury found for the plaintiff and assessed damages against defendants in the sum of $17,850.
