The petitioner applied for a writ of prohibition whereby he sought to have the respondents, the Superior Court in and for the City and County of San Francisco, and the Judge thereof, required to refrain and desist from further considering the contempt proceeding instituted in said court in an action for separate maintenance pending in said court, wherein the petitioner is the defendant and his wife, Marion Shibley, is the plaintiff.
