OPINION OF THE COURT ON PETITION FOR EXTRAORDINARY RELIEF IN THE NATURE OF A WRIT OF MANDAMUS

WERNER, Judge:

The petitioner has filed this Petition for Extraordinary Relief in order to secure a writ of mandamus against the military judge in this ongoing general court-martial.1 He simultaneously filed a motion to stay court-martial proceedings pending adjudication of his petition which motion was granted by this court.
