This is a copyright case between business competitors who sell virtual animals in an online simulated world known as Second Life. Presently before the Court is PlaintiffiCounterclaim Defendant Amaretto Ranch Breedables’ (“Amaretto”) Motion for Summary Judgment on (1) DefendanVCounterclaim Plaintiff Ozimals, Inc.’s (“Ozimals”) copyright infringement counterclaim; (2) Amaretto’s declaratory judgment claim, and (3) Amaretto’s copyright misuse claim.
