On March 10, 1930, appellee filed her suit in the district court of Tom Green county, Tex., against appellant on a beneficiary certificate issued her deceased husband, Edwin I. Cameron, wherein she was named beneficiary. The” case was tried before the court without a jury on July 11, 1930, and the judgment was rendered for appellee in the sum of $1,100 with legal interest from February, 1929, and costs.
