Plaintiff in error is a railway corporation, and condemned for its right of way across defendant in error’s land a strip contaning 6.51 acres. The condemnation proceedings were in conformity with the requirements of the law, and the defendant in error properly appealed from the award made by the commissioners to the district court, where a trial by jury was had and a verdict returned in favor of the defendant in the sum of-$1,450.00, and, judgment being rendered theron for that amount, plaintiff appeals to this court, and asks for a reversal of this case upon…
