In this action, Plaintiff Spencer Ung alleges that Defendant Universal Acceptance Corporation (“Universal”) made unauthorized calls to his cell phone, in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), 47 U.S.C. § 227 et seq. Previously, the Court denied Universal’s Motion to Dismiss, concluding that a settlement offer by Universal in March 2016 had not mooted the ease.
