James Lewis was convicted of one count of rape, R.C. 2907.02(A) (2), with a firearm specification. Lewis was sentenced to consecutive terms of imprisonment of seven to twenty-five years on the rape and three years actual incarceration on the firearm specification. This matter is now before the court on Lewis's timely notice of appeal from said conviction.
