Quinn, Chief Judge:

A general court-martial convicted the accused of six offenses in violation of the Uniform Code of Military Justice and imposed a sentence which included dishonorable discharge and confinement at hard labor for seven years. The findings of guilty were approved on intermediate appellate review, but the period of confinement was successively reduced so it is now three and one-half years. The only question before us is whether the accused was prejudiced by the law officer’s refusal to require the Government to disclose the identity of an informant. The…
