This suit was brought by plaintiff against defendant to recover on account of the alleged conversion of two certain installment savings certificates issued by defendant to Katherine E. Jackson and Alice Boyd O'Neill, respectively. Plaintiff alleged in its complaint that the certificates had been assigned to it by the owners and surrendered by it to the defendant for transfer.
